Project Coordinator

Peteris has a background in both horticulture and building construction, so he came to Oriole with a valuable mix of experience. He ran his own construction company for many years, and in 2000, added to his skills by becoming a certified arborist. In arboriculture, he has a special interest in maintaining our urban forestry and mature tree health.

Peteris has been with Oriole since 2001 working as a carpenter and was promoted to Project Coordinator in 2010.

He likes to do most anything outside for fun, from sailing and skiing to biking, kayaking and “fishing” with the boys. He says he knows well the important people in his neighbourhood – the butcher, the baker and friends with supplies of chocolate, cheesecake, beer and/or bourbon. He loves his wife and daughter very much, but longs to one day have a dog, too.
